Boot up your Mac silently
There are many situations where you dont want to disturb others by powering on your beautiful Mac. Here Silent Boot comes to help.
Silent Boot is a small utility, which will help you to achieve this, while still let you set some audio volume, when youre logged in. Silent Boot can be run totally in the background, without cluttering your menu bar with a just another status icon.

• Mute the chime
Turn on the big blue silder to enable Silent Boot and your startup chime will be muted the next time youll restart your Mac. Enable the auto launch feature too, so the chime is muted all the time.
• Keep the volume
Enable the auto launch feature and the audio volume will be restored to the level, which was set right before youve restarted your Mac. Of course, if youve muted the volume, Silent Boot respects your settings and the volume will be still muted.
• Hide the status icon
Tired of all those status items cluttering your menu bar?
Simply turn it off in the Preferences window. If you want to show it again, just launch Silent Boot from the Applications folder.
